Abstract

This research was aimed at approaching the pedagogical dimension’s “black box” (i.e. analysing and understanding what happens during university students’ learning and teaching). It analyses part of the information extracted from the data obtained from a survey applied to a sample of students from the Universidad Católica S. Antonio. Students in the 02/03 course were taken as reference population, studying the pattern of some input and output (family income), process (satisfaction with the teaching, perception of the classroom setting, time spent studying, learning approaches) and product or output variables (academic performance) from which overall correlations were obtained between them, separated by gender and qualifications.
