Abstract Several researches in the knowledge management field have been focused in the organizational memory study as formula to obtain competitive advantage. The internet revolution has changed the way how information technology resources are consumed, either, hardware or software, in part due to the appearing of cloud computing (CC).Cloud storage (CS), is a kind of CC service that allows file storage over internet as it were a local hard disk drive creating new opportunities to the organizational memories development for the knowledge resources management. In this paper it's exposed a literature revision of organizational memories supported by CS, made it by a bibliographic review, to expose their benefits, advantages and difficulties, with the purpose of propose alternatives at the development of these artifacts in the elaboration of knowledge management initiatives.
