This qualitative research by case of interest proposed to know the perceptions, experiences and opinions on business tourism by conducting six in-depth interviews with executives from different commercial industries in Bogotá. The results show how business tourism is perceived as a business opportunity that is guided by the experiences and relationships that people can make during their work trips. Therefore, they indicate that it is necessary for the tourism environment to have trained workers in basics business skills to encourage relationships or close negotiations.
