VALENCIA CASALLAS, Olga Lucía; OJEDA GOMEZ, Nina Emilse and HERNANDEZ DIAZ, Wilder Alexis. Practices to prevent corruption in public and private entities. LogosCyT [online]. 2020, vol.12, n.2, pp.131-146. Epub Oct 05, 2020. ISSN 2145-594X. https://doi.org/10.22335/rlct.v12i2.1142.
The objective of the research is to identify elements that can contribute to the prevention of corruption in both public and private companies. The study is based on 12 interviews conducted with legal professionals who are experts in economic crimes who, based on their experience, have identified some practices aimed at preventing corruption. This study is qualitative and the information was collected using the interview technique. The design is systematic, characterized by open and selective coding, and analyses each of the elements of prevention. The information was analysed using Atlas TI 6.5 software. The results show that psychoeducation is the variable that was given the most relevance. The variable with the least weight was creating awareness about collective affectation. For this reason, efforts and strategies should be directed towards this type of prevention.
