Abstract

QUELAS, Juan. «Decipherers of a writing of man». Praise of theology: a passionate possibility. Franciscanum [online]. 2017, vol.59, n.167, pp.377-412. ISSN 0120-1468.

The author writes a praise of theology, addressed to students of theology, to students of theology at no theological careers and to restless believers and non-believers: Is it worthwhile to study this discipline? Which are the reasons and passions that remain during the path? Can theology be studied from the deepest passion? Over 7 milestones, the author wants to show that studying theology can be a passionate adventure. This is not a scholarly article for theologians but a provocative article for students and (perhaps) their professors.

Keywords : Praise of theology; apologetic; fundamental theology; passion; students.
