Abstract
PEREZ, Óscar Iván; ROMERO, María Claudia and VARGAS GONZALEZ, Paola. Interlinkages and synergies between SDG: An analysis from the perspective of social responsibility in Colombia. Desarro. soc. [online]. 2020, n.86, pp.191-244. Epub Sep 30, 2020. ISSN 0120-3584. https://doi.org/10.13043/dys.86.6.
The purpose of this paper is to establish, the degree to which 44 social responsibility programs from private sector organizations in Colombia respond to the principles that determine the systemic logic of Agenda 2030, under the categories of comprehensiveness and intensity. The methodology adopted in this investigation involved a two-stage process: the first sets out an inventory of issues relevant to each SDG that fits with the actions of the private sector; and the second identifies the type of SDG interactions under the above categories. Empirical evidence shows that programs, although framed within a particular SDG, articulate with several SDGs simultaneously, with a bias towards economic, social, and governance issues rather than environmental ones. The study suggests the importance of adopting a systemic approach to social responsibility programs and is one of the few empirical studies on the interactions between SDGs that have been conducted in the country.
