Abstract
CHAPELA M, Maria del Consuelo. Intersubjective relation: change alternative for the human health professions. Rev. Fac. Nac. Salud Pública [online]. 2009, vol.27, n.1, pp.76-80. ISSN 0120-386X.
OBJECTIVES: 1. To exemplify the relationships between changes in the body inscriptions of people exposed to professional health services and the inter-subjective hyphens occurring in those relationships. 2. To identify in those relationships some components of subordination and autonomy. METHODOLOGY: here I present one aspect of a critical qualitative case study of a health promotion intervention. Results: the examples provided show changes in the body inscriptions as a product of capital recuperation processes that took part during the intervention. CONCLUSIONS: in the particular characteristics of the inter-subjective hyphen unavoidable in the health profession practice, there are subordination and autonomy possibilities. A critical qualitative inquiry perspective can not just improve the understanding of the social determinants of health and subjects body inscriptions, but also may help to search for new health concepts and to transform practices which are undermining the capacity of subject to produce their spaces and develop their ethic capacity.
