Abstract

The aim of this paper is to review the theory of Diffusion of Innovations (DoI) E. Rogers and their use in promotion and prevention in the field of health, methodological proposal, review and contributions to the diagnosis and evaluation of innovations. The DoI is one of the most prominent social theories and applications in promotion and prevention-related health-disease process can draw on their proposals because alone, or combined with other theories in health, provides a broad context for analysis.
