Abstract

In order to simulate the guinea pig ventricular action potential we used the mathematical model developed by Luo and Rudy. This model contains 22 ionic channels represented by non linear differential equations. The mathematical models give us a tool to demonstrate through the simulation, how the (Basic Cycle Length) BCL changes the normal value of Vmax and the Action Potential duration (APD).
