From a normative, doctrinal and legal analysis, the purpose of the present article is to establish the range of application held by the 1480/2011 law, current consumer's statute, regarding health care services. To this end, its compatibility with the special regime of health social security system will be studied, taking as a reference point the premise imposed by the statute itself, which aims to the subsidiarity of its application before the prevalence of the existent special regime. The implications the statute can directly or indirectly have on the subject will be studied, taking into account different rules concerning health sector from different levels of complexity, covering the analysis of ordinary dispositions and rules of constitutional range.
