Abstract

This article will focus on understanding and exposing the importance that has had Brazil on the game of international politics. This country has developed a potential force to consolidate a regional bloc that would serve as the basis for its international projection. Brazil has consolidated its image and role as a global power because of the necessity to propel a centrifugal force that is beyond the scope of regional integration. It provides empirical evidence that regional integration has had a positive impact on economic security and political stability in the region of MERCOSUR, and Brazil's convergence generates a higher international projection, also impulses the integration in South American with unasur project.
