From the results of the state of the art research in the field of education and democracy in the Masters in Education from the Catholic University of Manizales 2003-2012, place the cut this documentary study, where the metaphor is analyzed resulted from perspective of education and democracy, and these, in turn, from a metaphorical perspective. 277 works, of which 33 were reviewed were selected because their study recognized metaphors, while invention to solve problems through creativity and divergent thinking in the field of education and democracy. This document is expected to facilitate the development of other inquiries, other studies, other questions, do and become partakers of the metaphor.
