Abstract

URQUIJO-RODRIGUEZ, Andrés F; HERNANDEZ-RIVERO, José D  and  VINCK-POSADA, Herbert. ANALYSIS OF NON-LINEAR BEHAVIOR AND CHAOS IN A SEMICONDUCTING MICROCAVITY. Momento [online]. 2016, n.53, pp.30-40. ISSN 0121-4470.

Abstract In this work we present a study on the nonlinear behavior of a semiconducting microcavity containing a single Quantum-Dot. We characterize the nonlinear regime of this system through the dynamics of mean values of operators by using the mean field approximation in the Heisenberg picture. We also present classical quantifiers of chaos such as: Lyapunov exponents, Poincare sections and bifurcation diagrams in this system.

Keywords : Chaos; Lyapunov exponents; Quantum Dot; Microcavity.
