Abstract
EGUREN MARTI, María de Lourdes and CASTAN FARRERO, José María. TAXONOMIC ANALYSIS OF LITERATURE: METHODOLOGICAL TOOLS FOR VALUE CREATION AND VALUE MANAGEMENT IN A BUSINESS. Innovar [online]. 2016, vol.26, n.62, pp.41-56. ISSN 0121-5051. https://doi.org/10.15446/innovar.v26n62.59387.
One of the main goals in the business world is the creation of value. Within the existing methodologies for this issue one of the most popular at a strategic and processes level is the analysis of the value chain. The evolution of scientific literature as well as professional reports related to value management show an upward trend in the number of publications regarding this subject. If we add the current situation of uncertainty and economic crisis, it is obvious to highlight the increasing difficulty that entrepreneurs face when making decisions. For this reason and in order to define a knowledge base for future developments, it is proposed to develop an exploratory taxonomic analysis of the literature and the existing models, by defining a descriptive metric that allows its cataloging and management in order to contribute to the theoretical foundations that allow the construction of future methodologies for value management. Likewise, given the nature of the study, it is intended to provide a quantitative analysis on the detected variables and their possible interrelationships under the methodological framework of the systemic approach.
