The presence for the first time of the genus Traverella Edmunds (Ephemeroptera: Leptophlebiidae) in the department of Chocó, Colombia is documented in this article. The record is based on nymphs collected in two aquatic ecosystems of the Tribuga village, in the municipality of Nuquí, department of Chocó, within the framework of the Serranía del Baudó Biological Expedition “From the Mountain to the Sea”.
