Abstract
RAMIREZ GUTIERREZ, Miguel Ángel. Generalized Linear Models (GLM) for spatial interpolation of PM10 using Landsat satellite images for the city of Bogotá, Colombia. Perspectiva Geográfica [online]. 2017, vol.22, n.2, pp.105-121. ISSN 0123-3769. https://doi.org/10.19053/01233769.5600.
The purpose of this article was to use alternative methods for the spatial interpolation of PM10 in the city of Bogotá DC in order to evaluate the statistic adjustment of the generalized linear models (GLM), type Normal and Gamma, in Bogota. In addition, the article sought to analyze their spatial efficiency with regard to city dynamics. Satellite images from the Landsat mission and measurements reported by the monitoring stations in 2010, 2013, and 2015 were used as inputs. The results show that the use of the Gamma model is optimal, without disregarding the need to statistically and spatially strengthen the application of this type of methodology.
