The COVID-19 pandemic has affected work routines, generating stress or burnout in people, which can decrease due to the engagement of workers. The purpose of this research was to analize burnout, engagement, and the perception of management practices in support of workers in a COVID-19 pandemic context and its relationship with facing challenges. The methodological approach was correlational-explanatory, with surveys of 408 workers from a south-central Chilean city. The results show that there are differences by sex and age in engagement, but not in burnout. Furthermore, people who perceive they receive support have higher engagement scores and lower burnout scores than those who do not perceive support oriented to management practices support in uncertain contexts.
