Understanding habitat as a plot of dynamic, spatial and temporal relationships constructed by human beings, the Habitat Master's Program of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia has been focused on knowledge production and methodologies generation. This in order to study human habitat from its different perspectives, training researchers and professionals to do research, and therefore improve the habitability conditions and quality of life of the population. This article aims to expose some of the theories around the concept of habitat that support the research processes in the Master's Program. Additionally, it will show how the students develop research and the topics addressed by them in the thesis projects, all from the researcher's experience and as a conclusion, some reflections.
