Abstract

CHAPARRO AMAYA, Adolfo. Subjetivation processes in Colombia. Estud. Socio-Juríd [online]. 2005, vol.7, n.spe, pp.411-469. ISSN 0124-0579.

ABSTRACT In this paper, it is asked, what are the discourse conditions of some political philosophy theories produced in Colombia during the nineties and in the context of armed conflict. The hypothesis is that the different forms of violence that occurs in this country during this period change the reception of social theory, and, at the same time, constitutes a myriad of processes of subjects' production linked to social rights, armed action and the construction of the state-nation. Despite, the seemingly chaos that generates this set of facts, theories and processes of subjects' production, this paper tries to understand the relationships between practices and discourses. To do this, I establish the field of emergence of all these theories that try to explain and to propose solutions to the armed conflict. In this way, I also try to show what is the specific form of knowledge that is proper of the Colombian social sciences.

Keywords : Armed conflict; political violence; social sciences; subjetivation; Colombia.
