Abstract
VALENCIA-ORDONEZ, Daniela; RIVAS-TOVAR, Luis Arturo and CARDENAS-TAPIA, Magali. Models of Environmental Behavior in University Students. rev.univ.empresa [online]. 2021, vol.23, n.41, pp.201-229. Epub June 12, 2022. ISSN 0124-4639. https://doi.org/10.12804/revistas.urosario.edu.co/empresa/a.10543.
The research's objectives were to analyze the environmental behavior models aimed at university students, created from 2016 to 2020, and to contrast them with an exploratory factorial analysis of the environmental ecological behavior model. The method consisted of a documentary analysis based on selecting environmental behavior models and behavior applied to students, between 2016 and 2020 and with representativeness on scientific bases such as Web of Science, Scopus, SCÍELO, Redalyc, EBScohost, and Elsevier, identifying three relevant models. The originality of the study lies in its approach to a business school in Mexico with a large, balanced sample and a high Cronbach alpha. One limitation encountered was that the models were selected internationally, excluding models developed by region. The main finding is that the literature review reveals an astonishing shortage of quality research and a quasi-virgin field for developing research on culture and environmental behavior.
