According to international and national legal framework related directly to combat smuggling are all illegal activities that directly harms the Colombian economy have always played an important part, especially in land regions such as Guajira, Norte de Santander and Pasto that Despite numerous efforts by governments to control and reduce the wide-ranging negative impact they have on society causes of this prohibited activity. In the country it affects a large number of sectors and products ranging from the traditional smuggling of cigarettes, gasoline, liquor, food, toys and appliances, including the technology such as computers, cell phones, cosmetics and technology. The determinants of this activity have evolved over time, in like manner, positions which are now numerous posters that have come to segment the passage of some products many demands.
