The objective of this article is to analyze the contributions of the payment order process in the agile access to the administration of justice in Colombia, which was developed with a qualitative research method of descriptive approach where it was found as results, that the norm complies with the constitutional aspects for its application and allows the agile access to the administration of justice. However, for lawyers it does not represent an economically preponderant aspect, which makes them prefer to carry out executive processes when the law allows it, rather than monitorious processes, On the other hand, it is possible to identify the lack of knowledge of the citizens in the knowledge of the payment order process and as conclusions it is possible to infer the need to work on the education and training of citizens on the application of the payment order process, its benefits and forms of access with the support of entities such as the Universities from the legal offices and the application of practical research in the analysis of the number of processes and their effectiveness by regions and their results in the country, which allows to generate improvement plans focused by regions.
