Abstract

MARTINEZ-MARTINEZ, Roberto Enrique; NISPERUZA-TOLEDO, Jorge Luis  and  OCHOA-PEREZ, Fredy Alexander. Dark matter from scalar sector in a model. Rev. acad. colomb. cienc. exact. fis. nat. [online]. 2015, vol.39, n.153, pp.450-454. ISSN 0370-3908.  https://doi.org/10.18257/raccefyn.238.

By considering an extension of the standard model of fundamental particles like SU(3)CSU(2)LU (1)YU(1)X, which contains a scalar singlet as a dark matter candidate, we study bounds to the mass of the scalar from the relic density data for dark matter from Planck experiment, the boundaries of the DM-nucleon spin independent scattering cross section reported by LUX, and bounds from the Higgs invisible decay width fraction obtained by the LHC collider at CERN. We obtain allowed regions for the mass of the scalar by consider different scenarios to model space parameters.

Keywords : Standard model; dark matter; relic density.
