Abstract
CONTRERAS-LANDGRAVE, Georgina; TETELBOIN-HENRION, Carolina and LOPEZ-GUTIERREZ, Luis Ramón. The opinion of the participants on the reform of health policy: a study in local services. Rev. Gerenc. Polit. Salud [online]. 2013, vol.12, n.24, pp.143-162. ISSN 1657-7027.
In 2004, Mexico began the Popular Health Insurance (SPS), which has been evaluated with positive results, however, the opinion of those who participate in its implementation is unknown. The objective is to describe the opinion of certain individuals as officers, doctors, nurses and users involved in the implementation of the SPS in a town in México. It began by reviewing and systematizing health documents issued to national and state level. Variables were identified and it was developed a semi deep interview guide, which was applied in the services of first and Second level health care. Results: We describe the opinions of respondents, which in most cases were contrary between the two levels of health care. Conclusion: It is necessary to incorporate other procedures and participations in the evaluation process of Seguro Popular in order to achieve the objectives set out in the regulations that provides support.
