The employment consultant is normally exposed, when he performs his/her function attending to people unemployed, to different and common stressors, one of these stressors are the conflicts. Using a sample of 90 guidance workers of the Andalusian Employment Service (Spain), this study aims to show to what extent the exposed anxiety is related to behavioral conflict management style, and this last with strategies of coping with stress. Results show high levels of anxiety, as well as significant relations between strategies of coping with stress and behavioral styles of management of conflicts, pointing out that they are related conceptually.
