The aim of this paper is to analyze the role of the processes of public communication and citizen participation in the management made by government organizations, to facilitate more effective communication with young people. The proposed methodology is based on the investigation of secondary sources of information around the topic interested by searching academic and government databases, which are examined in order to extract the successful communication strategies and participation of young people. We conclude that these spaces provide the participation of stakeholders from the active decision making and use of public spaces. Furthermore, it most search strategies beyond of the use of mass media oriented to promote dialogue, listening and the satisfaction of needs of social interest in the intervention groups.
