This paper discusses the management of female adolescents’ sexualities in the Juvenile Criminal System in Uruguay. The study uses a qualitative research perspective that identifies the production of meanings by key agents, supported by the contributions of feminist epistemologies and criminologies. The authors discuss two analytical tensions, one related to the sexualization of the body and its overlapping with sexuality, and another based on the treatment of adolescent motherhood linked to sin and the exercising of sexuality. Finally, we show how many of these interventions target the body through the establishment of socio criminal control practices aimed at the female adolescents’ sexualities.
