Abstract

ESTRADA MESA, Diego Alejandro. Gobernar a los otros, gobernarse a uno mismo. La vida humana como resultado de la domesticación y el ejercicio. Eidos [online]. 2015, n.22, pp.195-224. ISSN 1692-8857.  https://doi.org/10.14482/eidos.22.6238.

This article focuses on the concept of governing. Based on some philosophical approaches by thinkers like Michel Foucault, Peter Sloterdijk, Giorgio Agamben, and Maurizio Lazzarato among others, an argument is developed about the ways how the human is constructed. Firstly, a terminological exploration on the verb "to govern/to rule" is carried out from an anthropological view in order to define the scope of this reflection. The view is subsequently turned to the new ways how humans are being governed, both in their collective and individual extent.

Keywords : govern/rule; anthropotechnics; apparatus; training; neoliberalism.
