Abstract
LIMIC, Tijana. Para un diálogo interepistémico y decolonial entre feministas occidentales y no occidentalesTowards an inter-epistemic and decolonial dialogue between Western and non-Western feminists. Tabula Rasa [online]. 2015, n.23, pp.133-156. ISSN 1794-2489.
This paper explains why establishing inter-epistemic dialogues between Western and non-Western feminists is needed. It reflects on Western feminisms becoming, so that their emancipating boundaries are made evident, which are congruent with the emancipating boundaries of the modern project. It argues Western feminisms have reproduced some features of patriarchy, which were reinforced globally by modernity, namely, its colonial, classist, racist, and "epistemicide" nature.
Keywords : Feminism; coloniality; modernity; epistemicide.
