Abstract

SALCEDO DIAZ, Laura et al. Corporative social responsibility: model of process development for products with base on PRiSM and the p5 strategy. Rev. P+L [online]. 2016, vol.11, n.2, pp.111-125. ISSN 1909-0455.  https://doi.org/10.22507/pml.v11n2a10.

ABSTRACT Introduction. PRiSM methodology and the P5 strategy are used to put sustainable and inclusive objectives into practice, including the three base parameters of SocialCorporative Responsibility: society, environment and economy. With this base, a model that integrates these three instruments in a new product development model (PDM) is proposed. Objective. Design a PDM model that integrates PRiSM methodology and p5 strategy, so companies can plan and apply Corporative SocialResponsibility. Materials and methods. The research work is based on a qualitative methodology, with a revision of documentation to analyze the different PDM models in order to design a new model that integrates PRiSM methodology and p5 strategy in such a way that organizations can apply CSR on their production processes using the Green Project Management guide as a base. Results. A model with six PDM is designed, simultaneously with the development of an environmental management brief and an evaluation of the CSR's impact in order to develop products with the consolidation of sustainability objectives proposed according with the base lines. Conclusions. By means of this model it is possible to link the labor, economic, environmental and social aspects. The design of the model is more specific because it focuses on the product development and is based on the chronological analysis of different classic and new models.
