Introduction.

At present, environmental management has become one of the main axes for the different areas of the company. Environmental management in synergy with social responsibility are key factors in causing the least impact of activities on the environment, this last factor being the one that ensures compliance with the rules and policies established by the competent authorities.

Objective.

Determine the level of relationship between environmental management and social responsibility of the company dedicated to the tile and brick industry in the San Jerónimo district, Cusco.

Materials and Methods.

The information obtained was collected through surveys of a sample of 102 tiles and bricks manufacturers from the district of San Jerónimo, Cusco. Spearman's correlation statistic and factor analysis with a significance level of 95 % were used for data analysis.

Results.

With the application of the method, the level of relationship between environmental management and social responsibility was obtained through the Spearman correlation, being 1.6 % with p = 0.156> 0.05.

Conclusions.

It was determined that environmental management does not have a significant level of relationship with social responsibility in the tile and brick sector of the San Jerónimo district, Cusco. Likewise, for environmental management, it was identified that the planning factor is the most important and for social responsibility, voluntary responsibilities.
