Water in the present time is one of the main elements to study, who gains a geopolitical role by the conflicts that generate and the quantities estimates about his availability. Southern Ice Land, located in Patagonia, becomes one of the biggest world water reserves, for that reason, it is crucial in the progress of Chile and Argentina. This article analyses according to a qualitative methodology, the water role in Southern Ice Land zone, by means of revision authors of French geopolitics, the development of their principal ideas, and their application at the zone of the American Southern Cone besides new perspective in relation to "resources' war", and as the water, of vital importance for the people's life, could be transform in a conflict in the future.
