Abstract

BERTI, Agustín. THE DISCRETE ADDRESSABILITY OF ELUSIVE WORDS: PROCEDURES OF ARGENTINIAN WEB POETRY. perifrasis. rev.lit.teor.crit. [online]. 2017, vol.8, n.15, pp.10-28. ISSN 2145-8987.

This paper discusses technical and technological resources in digital poetry. In order to do so, it discusses works by three Argentinian authors: Iván Marino, Leonardo Solaas, and Carlos Gradín. What are the specificities of web poetry in the context of contemporary literary experimentation? An answer to these matters cannot oversee the role played by the transformation of text into an addressable object inasmuch as it is code in the digital context, as well as the poetical and political implications implicit in this kind of work.

Keywords : electronic literature; Argentinian digital poetry; Flash; Linux; addressability.
