Abstract

ARCE SANCHEZ, Alejandro  and  BRAVO, Omar Alejandro. Social Representations of Guerrilla Exmembers About the State and the Representation of a Political and Ideological Other. Trab. soc. [online]. 2023, vol.25, n.2, pp.221-240.  Epub July 02, 2024. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v25n2.101943.

This text adresses the social representations of exmembers of the FARC-EP about the State and other Colombian political actors. The Peace Accord of 2016 aims for the political reincorporation of excombatants. This demands from the different political actors a transformation that allows confrontation in democratic spaces, leaving the imaginary of the necessity of "eliminating the enemy". In in-depth interviews with eleven people in process of reincorporation, the State and other actors are represented as political adversaries to confront in institutional spaces, but due to the constant political violence risks a return to the previous scenario
