Abstract
PRADA VESGA, Fernando. Representational Rationality in The Competitiveness Policy in the City of Medellín. Ens. Econ. [online]. 2018, vol.28, n.52, pp.203-230. ISSN 0121-117X. https://doi.org/10.15446/ede.v28n52.69116.
In public policies, a representational rationality is one in which certain social representations are stablished by mayors as new social realities and truths related to the competitiveness of the city of Medellín. It involves specific symbols and their meanings, whose narratives, evaluative opinions, cognitive linguistics and cognitive authority -all designed by mayors- render it visible and believable.
