Abstract
GUZMAN RAYA, Antonio Lebeo. Value and Money in the Simple Circulation of Goods. Ens. Econ. [online]. 2018, vol.28, n.53, pp.193-207. ISSN 0121-117X. https://doi.org/10.15446/ede.v28n53.73597.
The crucial difference between Marxist analysis and that of classical and neoclassical economics lies in the first object of analysis. For Marx, the commodity category is the first object of study, from which one begins to understand the mercantile and capitalist dynamics. Therefore, it develops the simple circulation of goods as an analysis of abstraction in order to explain the dynamism of the economy as a whole. This investigation starts with this scheme, as an approximation to categories, in which money and value interact in a reciprocal way, whose expression is the metamorphosis of the merchandise. Money is proposed as the first logical element of analysis that gathers Marx's deepest ideas and corrects his main problems.
