Abstract

MUSSOT, María Luisa. Social Intervention in the Age of Neoliberalism in Latin America. Trab. soc. [online]. 2018, vol.20, n.2, pp.19-52. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v20n2.74304.

The changes produced in the Latin American region as a result of structural adjustment and labor termination policies as the basis for social integration gave rise to this research project that questions the premises of a guided social intervention focused exclusively on the concept of human development. As an alternative, it proposes a participatory social intervention from an epistemic perspective involving the notions of complexity, inclusion, and interdisciplinarity, in order to modify the factors that generate inequality and exclusion and to influence the construction of new forms of social and political representation.

Keywords : complexity; inclusion; inequality; interdisciplinarity; guide social intervention; participatory social intervention.
