The FMC promotes equal rights and opportunities for women; works for the wellbeing of families; and creates awareness by carrying out educational, guidance, preventive, and social assistance community activities aimed at overcoming gender inequalities. The organization currently faces the challenge of responding adequately to the dynamics of the new Cuban society.
