Abstract

VELOSA FORERO, Jaime. Segregation, An Intimate Feeling? Some Considerations from Psychoanalysis. Trab. soc. [online]. 2019, vol.21, n.2, pp.81-95. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v21n2.75254.

The article provides a psychoanalytical reflection on the relation between segregation and present times, on the basis of some of the concepts developed by Freud and Lacan. Segregation is necessarily present from the beginning, as an undifferentiated experience that makes possible the structuring of the subject, and also as a modality of the social bond, which is especially visible in relations to others, a hostility always present in daily life.

Keywords : exclusion; present times; psychoanalysis; social bond; segregation; subject.
