Abstract

RUZ ESCOBAR, Catalina. Territorial Work and Micropolitics in the Pandemic: Between Immunity and Community. Trab. soc. [online]. 2022, vol.24, n.1, pp.31-48.  Epub Feb 15, 2023. ISSN 2256-5493.  https://doi.org/10.15446/ts.v24n1.94839.

This paper exposes the territorial work that arose on the occasion of the social revolt of October the 18th, 2019 in Chile. From this context, the author addresses forms of community response to the social and health crisis caused by COVID-19, as the assemblies are spaces that sustain community organization and care for life through the micropolitics approach. Finally, the relationship between immunity and community is analyzed, antagonistic terms that operate simultaneously as devices to address the current pandemic.

Keywords : community; COVID-19; immunity; micropolitics; social revolt; territorial work.
