Abstract

In this paper, I propose to analyze the didactics possibilities that are derived of the criticism as a sabotage or world’s models exposed by Manuel Asensi. In this respect, it seems to be relevant to register its relation to Critical Thinking, as well as aspects that are linked between of the competence levels to the kinds of the Dual Process Theory. In particular, Asensi’s proposal supports the critical analysis of the discourse through the detection of its syllogism and its explicit or hidden world’s models in a literary work or a film. Thus, its incorporation in literature teaching make sense because the theory, in short, dialogues with cognitive and educational referents paying attention way to both mental representation and reader’s motivation it analyzes literary discourse.
