Abstract

The study developed focuses on a space for reflection based on the role of the curriculum as an integrating axis of science, technology and innovation, recognising the technical and scientific scenarios established in universities throughout history, promoting a dialogue of authors regarding the requirements of comprehensive curricula. Methodologically, a qualitative approachis addressed through a socio-critical analysis, regarding the role of the curriculum for the promotion of research of a formative character. Among the main results, the role of information and communication technologies, learning and knowledge technologies, and empowerment and participation technologies stand out, as a central axis in the construction of competencies and learning outcomes, which lead to a declaration of the intentions to distribute topics and subtopics. In conclusion, recommendations are offered for the articulation by means of micro, macro and meso curricular levels according to the area of knowledge and didactic intentionality.
