Abstract
VALDERRAMA, Christian Felipe; CERON, Alexandra; HERRERA, Juan Pablo and DIAZ, Leidy. Analyzing Urban Agroforestry: A Systematic Review and Bibliometric Analysis. Colomb. for. [online]. 2023, vol.26, n.2, pp.77-91. Epub Aug 01, 2023. ISSN 0120-0739. https://doi.org/10.14483/2256201x.19981.
Uncontrolled urban development is generating an imbalance between urban ecosystems and the ecosystem services provided by them. This work is a systematic review and a bibliometric analysis of the results of scientific research on urban agroforestry, with the aim to identify global trends in this field of knowledge. The bibliometric analysis was based on a review of the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases. All the records obtained were analyzed using graph theory and tools such as bibliometrix, Sci2 Tool, and Gephi, which are divided into three categories: classic, structural, and recent. This exercise identified four perspectives: urban agriculture and urban green infrastructures, urban agroforestry as a provisioning service, ecosystem services and urban development, and the impacts of agroforestry in territories.
