Abstract
GUEVARA-GONZALEZ, RUBÉN DARÍO; VARGAS-NAVAS, JOSÉ ALBERTO and LINERO-SEGRERA, DORIAN LUIS. Profile Monitoring for Compositional Data. Rev.Colomb.Estad. [online]. 2014, vol.37, n.1, pp.159-181. ISSN 0120-1751. https://doi.org/10.15446/rce.v37n1.44364.
In a growing number of quality control applications, the quality of a product or process is best characterized and summarized by a functional relationship between a response variable and one or more explanatory variables. Profile monitoring is used to understand and to check the stability of this relationship over time. In some applications with compositional data, the relationship can be characterized by a Dirichlet regression model. We evaluate five T2 control charts for monitoring these profiles in Phase I. A real example from production of concrete is given.
