Abstract
GOMEZ MORALES, Daniel Leonardo. An analysis between the Colombian geopolitical agenda its and impacts related to internal organization. Rev. Fac. Derecho Cienc. Polit. - Univ. Pontif. Bolivar. [online]. 2023, vol.53, n.138, pp.1-. Epub May 20, 2023. ISSN 0120-3886. https://doi.org/10.18566/rfdcp.v53n138.a3.
This article compiles part of the Colombian geopolitical agenda and the territorial impact that the "traditional" political approach has had with a low, or null, geostrategic vision. The territorial impacts have been both physical-geographical and socio-population and are reflected in the current situation in Colombia marked by informality, illegality, and violence. Thus, the position that Colombia has in the world is framed by a subordination to the great powers and foreign policy is based on this subordination.
The article is structured in two main parts. The first one shows the geopolitical positions of the two centuries that constitute most of the history of Colombia and how it has had repercussions within the territory. The second shows the current context and beacon that Colombia follows for the last presidential term (2018-2022), and the analysis of the possible effects of this agenda for the immediate future is framed. Finally, everything developed is recapped in a clear and synthetic way within the conclusions.
Keywords : Geopolitical subordination; traditional politics; economic dependence; amazon region; maritime projection.
