Multilateral banking is a mechanism that encourages the productivity and competitiveness of Stated and public-private associations that have been created as an alternative for the strengthening and support of state managements from the knowledge and the expertise of private sector. This article’s goal is to identify the incidence of multilateral baking in the development of public-private associations in Bogota, Colombia. From a descriptive scope with qualitative analysis and through semi structured interviews corresponding to an orienting category and inquiries axes, this study analyzes the incidence of multilateral banking in the development of this type of association. The results make evident that the representatives of the public-private associations have positive and negative perceptions about the prominence of multilateral banking and the way in which these organizations manage the financial resources obtained from this source. It concludes with the high importance of an adequate connection between the multilateral banking and public-private associations for the country’s infrastructure and society’s well being.
