Tourism is a collective-social practice which is outlined like one of the main suppliers of economic activities in rural areas, that also involves excluded sectors of the labor market (youngsters, women and the elderly). In consequence, the rural tourism constitutes an alternative for diversifying rural community incomes and a strategic axis for the rural territory development. Nevertheless, it is necessary to bear in mind the restrictions that the activity has, as not every territory has tourist vocation.
