Abstract
PASUY-GUERRERO, GLADYS YOLANDA; DAZA-CASTANEDA, ANDRÉS FELIPE and MONTENEGRO-BURITICA, JUAN CAMILO. Tintiando en La Aurora: Recovery of the Coffee Oral Heritage. Cuad. linguist. hisp. [online]. 2023, n.41, e09. Epub Jan 29, 2024. ISSN 0121-053X. https://doi.org/10.19053/0121053x.n41.2023.14055.
The Tintiando en La Aurora project seeks to collect and disseminate the stories of the Caldas oral tradition that arise in the coffee farms of the state and to make known the socio-cultural practices of this population. From the audio corpus compiled (Coffee Conversational Narratives) and later examined according to the model of William Labov (1988), it was possible to understand and describe the linguistic and sociocultural aspects that underlie the collected narratives. Input and output surveys were applied to verify the degree of knowledge of Modern Languages students about these stories and other cultural elements. As a result, bibliographic material is created and socialized through the modality of workshops, which disseminates and protects the Caldas coffee cultural heritage. Finally, new resources are obtained to preserve and disseminate this knowledge and motivate its appropriation for students' personal and professional training.
