Abstract
PARRA-HERRERA, Édisson Leonardo. Philosophy and (auto) Biographical Narratives in the School. A View from the Formation of the Political Subjectivity. Folios [online]. 2023, n.57, pp.147-162. Epub June 01, 2023. ISSN 0123-4870. https://doi.org/10.17227/folios.57-13332.
This reflection paper explores the role of philosophy in the projects of research-formation of political subjectivities from the use of (auto) biographical narrations in the school. To that end, it indicates first, how the discussions about the subject have a starting point in Descartes and shows the elements in the philosophy of Nietzsche for the formation of the political subjectivity. Secondly, from Ricoeur's thinking, it answers in what sense the configuration of the plot constitutes subjectivity. Then, it asks about the possibility of formation-transfiguration of the political subject. In other words, it shows in what sense it is possible to form-transfigure political subjectivity to finally see how the formation of this subjectivity happens from the use of (auto) biographical narratives in school. After the exploration, it is mainly found that philosophy is used as an ontological and epistemological support for research or educational projects for the formation of political subjectivities from this type of narrative. Similarly, these methodologies resort to philosophy to grasp the development of the concepts associated to the subject and the power, then they get closer to a philosophical attitude; however, it is postulated, with Masschelein, that the philosophers of education have an instrumental look at the school, so it is necessary for it to find its own language.
