Abstract
MACUACE-OTERO, Ronald Alejandro. Proposal for the Measurement of the Social Appropriation of Science, Technology and Innovation in Rural Organizations. Ágora U.S.B. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.2, pp.593-609. Epub June 16, 2022. ISSN 1657-8031. https://doi.org/10.21500/16578031.4696.
The objective of the document is to “propose a methodology for the measurement of the Social Appropriation of Science, Technology, and Innovation (ASCTI) in rural organizations.” For this purpose, methodological triangulation was used, which allowed the construction of two instruments for its measurement. In this respect, it was found that the measurement of the ASCTI is a path under construction, for which there are no certainties, but on the contrary, some approximations. However, complementarity in the use of quantitative and qualitative instruments is necessary for a better understanding of the processes occurring in rural organizations.
